MBMC Digital Book Bundle Experience

MBMC Read, Color & Shine: The Three-Book Digital Family Collection

Three stories. Big imagination. Confidence worth celebrating.

Make room for meaningful family moments with Amara and Amir! From embracing their natural hair to creating Halloween costumes that express who they are, these relatable adventures celebrate Black children, family connections, friendship, and the courage to be yourself.

Created by ING, a passionate Black mother of two, this collection brings representation and creativity into everyday reading time. Children can see themselves in the stories and add their own ideas through coloring, activities, and conversations.

Your collection includes:

• Amara’s My Hair, My Story, My Confidence — a journey of self-love, family support, and pride in her natural hair.
• Amir’s My Hair, My Story, My Confidence — a Picture Day adventure about family roots, setting boundaries, and showing up with confidence.
• My Costume, My Confidence — a Halloween story featuring twins Amara and Amir, creative costumes, sibling humor, and teamwork.
• Coloring pages, discussion prompts, and activities to keep the experience going.
• A simple Start Here guide to help your family begin.

Start with the Halloween adventure, grab your favorite colors, and let the conversations unfold. Read together on screen or print selected pages for creative time at home.
